Sri Lanka – Kandahena Mission – January 2025
The Mission
From January 19 to February 2, 2025, the Solidarity Couriers Anthea,Dilaksion, Cinthia, Kerri Ann , and Sara will explore Sri Lanka through concrete acts of solidarity. During the trip, they will deliver school supplies, food, clothing, and other essential items to two schools and an orphanage.
Our primary goal is to raise €1,350, which will allow us to purchase the necessary supplies for 65 students at MO/Kandahena No. 2 Tamil Vidyalayam. The supplies include notebooks, pencils, crayons, water bottles, food, rulers, pens, calculators, and much more.
If we exceed our goal: By raising additional funds, we will be able to purchase more supplies—such as toys, food, and educational materials—for the children at the Sujatha Child Home, bringing smiles and tangible support to many more children.
