THE COMPANY
Weeko is actively committed to developing educational projects aimed at the younger generation, with the goal of promoting genuine and tangible educational sustainability. Through an integrated approach, the organization supports schools and students in programs that combine knowledge, environmental awareness, and preparation for the workforce. One of the key concepts on which Weeko bases its activities is that we cannot talk about sustainability without first raising awareness about the circular economy. Education means providing the tools to understand how reuse, waste reduction, and resource optimization are fundamental to a more responsible future. Only through this awareness is it possible to transform daily habits into sustainable actions.
As part of its PCTO (Pathways for Transversal Skills and Career Guidance) partnerships and Awareness Days, Weeko also offers career guidance sessions focused on the professional world. These sessions help students understand how to navigate a corporate environment, how to present themselves, and, above all, how to feel represented and valued within an organization. We focus on the importance of mutual respect, effective communication, and awareness of one’s own skills and potential.
These activities serve as a bridge between schools and businesses, offering a valuable opportunity to identify talent and prepare young people to become informed, competent, and sustainable professionals—capable of adding value to companies and society, and of actively and responsibly exercising their civic engagement.
2025 AGENDA: WEEKO PROGRAM
In concrete response to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, Weeko’s 2025 agenda includes an action plan focused on the “clean and inclusive” management of end-of-life technology, comprising a total of 10 objectives aimed at fostering decent social work, reducing technological inequality, and, last but not least, combating environmental pollution.
The Weeko project was launched in 2010, and through the 2025 Agenda, we are seeking partnerships to achieve our goals over the next three years: together, we are joining forces to set the world on the path to sustainability.
